Do minutes expire?
Never. Buy a pack and your minutes stay on your balance until you use them - there's no monthly reset.
Are minutes tied to one computer?
Yes. When you paste a key into the app, its minutes are added to that computer's credit and the key is used up. Once activated, credit is tied to that machine and can't be transferred to another one, so redeem each key on the computer you'll caption from.
What exactly gets billed?
Only transcription minutes. The clock runs while you're actively captioning audio, metered to the second - nothing else counts against your balance.
How do payments work?
